All products made of titanium and titanium alloys are manufactured in the industry expertise centre Metallurgy, established on the basis of the Chepetsky Mechanical Plant in Glazov, Udmurt Republic, Russia. The enterprise has a full production cycle from charge preparation and ingot smelting to post-processing of finished goods. A mandatory product quality control is employed at all stages of production. The advanced technologies used in production allow to manufacture products of improved quality as compared to the existing analogs.

We offer the widest range of seamless titanium pipes with diameters from 3.0 mm to 325 mm in the territory of the Russian Federation. In addition, production volumes of titanium welding wire, manufactured at Chepetsky Mechanical Plant JSC, cover more than 50% of the Russian market.

Titanium products of Rusatom Metal Tech LLC are supplied to such industries as shipbuilding, aircraft building, power engineering, nuclear power industry, and help to solve the issues of import substitution in the medical industry.

The range of medical products includes titanium implants for periosteal and intraosseous osteosynthesis, as well as instruments for their implantation processes, which are manufactured at our subsidiary, Rusatom Implant Systems LLC.

Seamless Pipes

We produce seamless titanium pipes of two types: cold-worked and hot-worked. The products are widely demanded in shipbuilding, aviation, nuclear, chemical, and other industries. Depending on the application, the pipes are made of high-alloyed or low-alloyed titanium alloys. The maximum outside diameter of a seamless titanium pipe is 325 mm.

Bars

Bars of titanium and titanium alloys are used in the medical industry, aircraft construction, machine building, shipbuilding, space, chemical, and food industries. We can produce bars of different titanium alloys with different lengths and cross-sections upon request, using one of four methods: hot working, hot rolling, hot pressing, and cold working.

Wire

Titanium wire is widely used in medical, automobile, food, and other industries. Half-finished wire product is also used in welding operations as an adding material. Titanium wire from Chepetsky Mechanical Plant JSC is especially demanded in shipbuilding as it has improved performance in terms of hydrogen content and surface quality. The minimum diameter of manufactured titanium wire is 0.8 mm.

Ingots

Titanium ingots of round cross-section with diameters from 360 to 450 mm are smelted at the smelting section of the Chepetsky Mechanical Plant JSC Metallurgical Shop. Depending on the application of the final goods, the ingots can be either low- or high-alloyed. Chepetsky Mechanical Plant JSC also manufactures heat-resistant titanium-based intermetallide alloys. Heat-resistant intermetallide alloys contain an increased amount of aluminum, due to which they have a great advantage in terms of specific weight, whereas titanium nickelide alloys have a unique ability to deform in cold zero power and restore the set shape under subsequent thermal action

Forgings

Titanium forgings are half-finished products of various cross-sections and geometric shapes. They are used as blanks in the cases requiring high strength, impact toughness, and high reliability, for example, for manufacturing parts of airplanes and aircraft engines, essential products of heat-exchange equipment and offshore gas turbines (rings, shells, flanges).

Plates

Titanium plate is a cast integral profile of rectangular shape, made of pure titanium or its alloys. Due to the properties of titanium, the plates are lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant. The low mass of titanium rolled products is due to the low density of the metal. They have low thermal conductivity, good weldability and ductility. Such products are characterised by resistance to brunt. Titanium plates are in widespread use in such spheres as mechanical engineering, modern construction, food and chemical industries.

Titanium Medical Products

Rusatom Metal Tech LLC offers a vast range of medical products made of titanium: plates for periosteal osteosynthesis of small, medium, and large bone fragments, fixation rods for treatment of distal, diaphyseal, proximal fractures of humerus, femur, and tibia bones, components (spongiotic and cortical screws, plugs, washers, etc.), as well as tools necessary for their installation, removal, and replacement.
